DIPEx Image Processing Modules
Image processing modules are yet another extended asset. Basic image processing is available and many of the 200 modules are available. They allow a user to set up modules to apply processes to imagery, which can then be managed for display or further processing. Each processing module has fixed input and output parameters, which must be assigned prior to running the module. Input parameter examples are base imagery and AOI polygons, and output parameters determine things like data format and projection.
Once a module’s parameters have been satisfied, the module becomes runnable. Running it queues a run, and a server side daemon kicks off the run as a background process, which the user may track in the Run History interface. The Run History interface is a table with columns to track run times, modules, status, etc.. Statuses are queued, running, finished and error.
